International Student Services and Programming (ISSP) designs and facilitates orientations, programming, and events for international undergraduates and graduate students to foster increased intercultural learning, build community, and support cultural adjustment. ISSP also administers a mentorship program for new international students that serves as leadership development for the mentors, assists with pre-departure orientations and re-entry programming for study abroad/away students, and offers international/intercultural events open to all.

Academic advising at UCSC is primarily supported through your specific college and department. They help to ensure that you are on the best academic plan toward completing your degree.
Learning Support Services (LSS) Tutoring
LSS provides undergraduates with course-specific academic support which includes tutoring and supplemental lessons. They also provide drop-in math and writing tutoring.
Library
The library offers many services including reserving study rooms, finding ebooks and online articles, and research assistance, and more.

The Writing Program offers courses designed to help students become more competent in their writing through teaching skills of grammar and organization and strategies of invention, composition, revision, and editing.
Administrative Support
Academic Excellence Program (ACE)
ACE is an academic support program that helps foster a community within STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) majors. Students within these majors can apply for this program.
ITS (Zoom, Canvas, VPNs)
UCSC Information Technology Services (ITS) helps you get connected securely and safely. If you encounter issues while distance learning with Zoom or VPNs, submit a help ticket through their website.
Office of Emergency Services (COVID-19)
The mission of the Office of Emergency Services (OES) is: To administer comprehensive emergency management, business continuity, and fire prevention programs to prepare for, respond to, recover from, and reduce the impacts of events that threaten the mission of the university.

Athletics & Recreation Department

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center (SHC) provides quality healthcare needs for all our students. They also encompass our Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) for mental health services.
Anastassia Alexandrovskaia serves as our International Case Manager with SHC/CAPS, and helps to assist international students with getting connected with health and wellness resources on and off campus.
